Fairy Tilda

Hi All,

This card was made for the Australian Copic Card Challenge which required us to use the colours BV02, Y06 and E02 on an A6 size card.  I will also enter this card in this weeks Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Flowers and the Just Us Girls Challenge (JUGS) - Dry Embossing.

Tilda has obvious been coloured with copics (Hair E31, E33, E35 & E37, Skin E50, E00 & E02, Dress and Shoes BV02 & BV0000 and Wings and Wand Y06 & Y0000) and the wings have a coating of Diamond Stickles. I have inked both Little Yellow Bicycle "Zinnia" Pattern Paper panels with a sponge and sewn them to the white cardstock. The outer corners are highlighted with gems and the corner die cut is by cuttlebug and has been cover with Diamond Stickles. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The circular mat has been embossed with the cuttlebug folder "Christmas Stars" and sponged. Tilda has been placed on foam dots for extra dimension and the sentiment is a rub on.

Thanks for stopping by,

Hi All,

Just a quick post with a card I made for a Work Colleague's Birthday. The stamp is My Favourite Things, the paper is Prove La Creme Stack (this pattern is flocked) and the flowers are from Wild Orchid. I have paper pieced the clothing and used dimensional magic on the wine glasses. A few pearls and sewing complete the card.

Ssshh Brady's Birthday Card

My eldest son Brady turns 16 tomorrow ~ where did that time go? He's busy learning his road rules for his Learner Permit.... so driving lessons here we come! I'm sure he'll be way to busy to notice I've posted his card here before he receives it.

I have used the sketch from this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge, however I've turned it on it's side as you can see from the picture below.

I've used the Kaiser "Rewind" paper pad which has some fabulous patterns for teenage boys! All the panels have been sewn and I've added a star and button as opposed to a flower. I love these buttons that I purchased on the weekend from a new store "Creations in Paper" that we found on a Girls Day Out in Montville. Julie the owner is lovely and you can visit her blog for details here. We found lots of lovely goodies including Magnolia and Greeting Farm Stamps and will be sure to visit again soon.

My image Guitar Edwin is coloured with Copics and placed on foam dots. Brady has been having Guitar lessons every week so I just had to buy this image!

Thanks for stopping by ~ Hope you had a great weekend!

Princess Tilda

Happy Thursday Everyone,

I have a day off today and I'm attending a Cancer Fundraising Ladies Morning Tea ~ a cause close the my heart! This Tilda has to be one of my favourites, I've been waiting to get my hands on this image from the moment I saw it. I have used the Friday Sketchers Challenge layout which I really liked.

Once again I've used my very love Papermania Pattern Papers combined with Soft Sky and White Cardstock. Tilda was coloured with copics and I've coloured her dress and shoes with Diamonds Stickles after seeing a gorgeous card by the amazingly talented Dena - which you can see here. I have added some gems to Tilda's crown but they are a little hard to see. All the panels are sewn, the flowers are from Wild Orchid and the ribbon, charm and pearls are from my stash of goodies.

I will also enter this card into the Just Magnolia - One for the Girls Challenge. Its is also a second entry for the Saturday Secret Crafter - Metal Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by ~ have a great day!

Pirate Birthday

Hello Everyone,

So sorry to have not posted for sooo long but last week was very challenging! This is my entry for this weeks Magnolia Down Under Challenge - to use Black and White and one other colour. The layout is the May sketch challenge from Magnolia-licious Challenges. I will also enter this card into the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge - make it dimensional, Cute Card Thursday - for Someone Special (my nephew), Saturday Secret Crafter - Metal and the Cards for Men Challenge - Outdoors.

My pattern papers are Magnolia and I've used Black and Red Cardstock with them. This is the first time I've used this cute little Pirate Edwin that I received in the mail on Thursday from Bizzy Becs. Edwin is coloured with copics and placed on foam dots. The charm is from Tickled Pink Stamps and the Steering Wheels either side of the charm are from the SU Dad's Day set. The sentiment was computer generated. Spotted Gross Grain Ribbon and Black Gems complete the card.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day Everyone,

My DH invited my Mum and Dad over for a BBQ Breakfast for Mother's Day this morning which was really nice! I was also spoilt with a Cafe Espresso Machine, Coffee and Chocolates! (My two favourite things)

This is the card was made for my Mum for the Mother's Day using the Friday Sketchers Challenge Sketch supplied this week by the extemely talented Jacque and you can check out her fabulous card here.

My cardstock is Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette which seem to be getting quite a workout lately! Teamed with my currect favourite papers from Papermania. The panels have been sewn onto the card all layers have been distress with Tim Holtz Antique Linen. I have used my MS Floral Band Border Punch to mat the oval by punching a long strip and cutting it at intervals to apply it before placing it on foam dots. The pink oval is also lightly stamped with French Script in Antique Linen but is a little hard to see. The sentiment is typed on the computer and the tag made with SU Tag Punches. These gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid and ribbon and a "Made with Love" Charm that is a little hard to see complete the card.

I am also entering this card in the CCEE Challenge - Mother's Day, the Copic Colour Challenge BG11, BG02 and R20 (I used the colours I had closest to these), the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Recipe (3 Embellishments - Ribbon, Flowers & Charm, 2 Papers and 1 Image.) and The Pink Elephant Challenge - "Mommy - I love You".

My apologies for the lack of posts this week, it's been a busy one!

Autumn Anya

Happy Monday Everyone.

Just a quick post with my entry for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge. This is a new digi image I thought I'd try called Autumn Anya. I haven't coloured an Anya image before so it's all new to me. I have used SU Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky cardstock along with Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses" Village. It is starting to get cooler here in Australia so it seemed right!

I have coloured Anya using the following copics (Hair E31, E33, E35 & E37, Skin E50, E00 & E02, Jeans B91, B93 & B95, Boots C00, C1 & C3 and Top & Scarf C1, C3, E04, R01 & W00). Spotted Pink Grossgrain Ribbon, Flowers, Gems and Stickles complete the card.

I'll also enter the card in Anyone For Anya Challenge - Lotsa Layers and the Basic Grey Challenge - Week 19 Photo Inspiration (I've used the Pink, Grey & White Colours).

Thanks for looking,

Tilda with Baby Lamb

Hi All ~ Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

This card was inspired by the sketch over at Stamp With Fun Challenge. I have however swapped the pearls and flowers to opposite corners. My cardstock is Pale Pink Bazzil and SU Soft Sky and the pattern paper is from Papermania.

I have masked Tilda and stamped both parts of the fence seperately then coloured the image with Copics. The rest of the card was simply adding the lace, pearls and flowers as per the sketch.

I will also enter this card in the Charisma Cardz Challenge - Girly with Flowers.

Hope to be back tomorrow with some more cards as it's another long weekend here in Queensland for the Labor Day Holiday. Woo Hoo two long weekends in a row.

Thanks for looking,

Penny Black - For You

Happy Sunday Everybody,

I am so out of my comfort zone/s here and really not very happy with how this card turned out. However if my blog is to be a record of my cards - it must show the good, the bad and the ugly!!! The card base was a white flower shaped card from DoCrafts and I have sponged it with SU Pumpkin Pie and added faux stitching. The centre of the card was this weeks layout from MOJO Monday Challenge (MOJO136). I have created the pattern paper using the SU Fresh Fillers stamp set and embossed the Pumpkin Pie cardstock with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, sewn it all together and add the ribbon and brad before

mounting it on a black nestabilities die cut. I have used three SU punches to mount the sentiment which was from Penny Black Transparent "Tiny Words" set. The cute cat image is also from a Penny Black Transparent set called "Hugs" and has just a hint of colour from copic markers W00 & YR07.

I'll enter this card into the following challenges:-

Mojo Monday - Sketch Challenge MOJO136
Colour Create Challenge #43 - Burnt Orange, Black and Cream
Cupcake Craft Challenge #88 - Don't be Square
Cute Card Thursday - Make your own (pattern paper)
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Shaped Card (Thanks Ei!!)

Thanks for looking - I hope to be back a little later with something prettier!
