Colour Create - Blue, Silver and White

Hi Everyone,

Well sadly it's time for our last Colour Create Challenge of the year! Our wonderful team coordinator Sharon has given us a break over Christmas so you'll actually have an extra two weeks to join our challenge! This time is was my turn to choose the colours and I've gone with Blue, Silver and White, with the optional extra being Embossing (Heat or Dry or Both). Here is the inspiration pic for you :-

Being that it is the festive season our generous sponsor Michelle from Michelle's Scrapbooking has generously donated a $30 voucer for our lucky challenge winner!

I chose to make a round card for this challenge and have layered white and silver cardstock with this pretty pattern paper from Magnolia. I've also used my favourite Magnolia stamp Tilda Wrapped and coloured her with copics.

I've embossed my Silver Cardstock with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and I've heat embossed the chipboard Merry Christmas sentiment with silver embossing powder. The bells, ribbon and lace are from my stash and the flowers are a combination of Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-
Charisma Cardz - Last Minute Christmas Makes
Papertake Weekly - I'm dreaming of a Blue Christmas
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Don't Look at the Light
Creative Card Crew - Tis the Season
Thanks for visiting today!
Be sure to stop by the Colour Create Challenge site and check out the beautiful creations by the rest of the DT!

Magnolia Down Under - Lost and Found

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week we'd like you to use something you've found around your home!

I found this paper gift bag that I still had sitting at home after a purchase - here is a before pic.

Now it can be anything that you've found at home for the challenge - buttons, string, ribbon, packaging... the list is endless!

Once again we are please to be joined by our sponsor Stampyland

Stampyland have offered a $20 voucher for our winner this week - so I hope you'll join us this challenge!

Here's slightly closer look at my Christmas gift bag, I've used so many things that I've had stashed away... those metal corners, the metal Merry Christmas sentiment and some left over bells from last year. My flowers are a combination of Magnolia and Wild Orchid and the Magnolia Paper is a recent purchase... I love the colours.

Tilda has been coloured with copics and stickles added for extra glitz.... I've also used liquid pearls to create the background.

I'd like to enter my gift bag in these challenges.
Allsorts Challenge - It Takes Two (Red & Blue)
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz - No Cards
Simon Says Challenge - Photomontage
Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge - Christmas and make it Sparkle!

Lia Stampz - Fancy Fold Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Time for the next Lia Stampz challenge which is Fancy Folds, the DT have all used this cute new image called Haley. For your chance to win your own digi of Haley simply join us with a Fancy Fold card, you don't have to use a Lia Stampz image but if you have one that would be great :)

As you can see I've used a gate fold with my image on a band that holds the card closed when shut. My papers are from Magnolia, the snowflake punch is Martha Stewart and the ribbon, bells and gems are from my stash.

My Haley image is coloured with Copics and I've added some Frosty Stickles to the sign and Haley's hat and skirt.

I hope you'll join us this challenge and be sure to drop by (here) and check out the amazing designs by the rest of the DT and our Special Guests.

I've used Magnolia papers on my card this week and the large chipboard star has been painted white, with a layer of SU heat and stick powder with some glitter. Snowy is coloured with copics with some stickles added to his hat and snowflake.

Magnolia Down Under - So Sentimental

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope your enjoying your weekend! Time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week we'd like to see a sentiment featured as the main element on your card.

This week our regualr sponsor Stampyland is giving away a $20 gift voucher to our lucky winner so I hope your can join us!

I've combined a Christmas sentiment from Just Right with my Magnolia Image and Papers this week.
Unfortunately my bow looks like the wrong colour match in my photo but IRL it work a lot better with these papers LOL!!

The dies I've used to stamp my quote on are from My Favorite Things and I've place small dots between the layers for a bit of extra dimension.

The bottom of the card features the dies again but this time without the foam dots. I've made my Snowflake embellishments with more dies from My Favorite Things and the MS Snowflake punch. They are topped with these gorgeous flowers that I found at the Papercraft show in Brisbane.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:-

Papertake Weekly - Christmas
Totally Tilda - Christmas No Red, Blue Or Green

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us for the challenge - be sure to check out the creations by the rest of the wonderful DT here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend:)

Magnolia Down Under - Ssshh It's a Secret

Time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week it's a secret! Yes that's right we'd like you to hide a little secret tag or panel on your creation!

Of course we have a wonderful prize on offer for the winner of our challenge! Kellie at Tickled Pink Stamps is giving our lucky winner the Winner Tilda stamps and Zig Zag Doo Hickey Die.

I've used cute Sleeping Baby Tilda this week - she is coloured with copics and I've added some clear spica pen for a touch of sparkle but unfortunately it's photographed a silver grey colour and not like that IRL.

My secret hidden element is a tag with the tulle end peeking out at the top. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the metal embellishments have been in my stash for ages. The cardstock is SU Almost Amethyst and White and I've added some pattern paper from Magnolia.

The sentiment on my tag and on the card are both SU stamps.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-

TOMIC - Bingo (Metal, Ribbon,Magnolia Paper)
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
CES Challenge - New Beginings

Colour Create - Burgundy, Green, Cream & Gold

Hi Everyone,

Time for our next Colour Create Challenge and this time our colours of Burgundy, Green, Cream and Gold (Perfect for Christmas) have been chosen our hardworking Team Leader Sharon with the optional extra being add some dimension!
Here is the pic that Sharon chose to inspire us with:-

And for all those wonderful bloggers who chose to enter the challenge we have a mystery prize this week!

I've decided to go with something a little different this challenge and coloured my Tilda using a tutorial I saw
that looks like the colouring is done using distress inks. I loved the way my image turned out but it hasn't photographed as well as I would have liked... it looks a little washed out.... but IRL it looks much better :)

The paper I've used are some SU pattern papers that I've had for a very long time and all other items have come from my stash including the roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The gold bell charm I found while looking around my local haberdashery store.

Thanks for stopping by,
