Magnolia Down Under - National Flag Colours

Good Morning Eveyone,

I hope you're having a great weekend, time for our next Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week we'd like to see you use the colours of your National Flag to create your card!

This week we are joined by our wonderful sponsor:-

Now the Australian Flag is Blue, Red and White but like many of the team I've chosen a different shade of blue than appears on our flag!

I've used these gorgeous new paper from My Minds Eye, great for Valentines day which is coming up soon! Tilda coloured with copics and I've added some dimensional magic to her balloons to make them shine. There's a little ink distressing and sewing to the edges and all my embellishments have been in my stash for ages!

Be sure to stop by Magnolia Down Under and check out the creations by the rest of the team - they are just gorgeous :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us at Magnolia Down Under this week!

Colour Create - Pink, Green & a Neutral Colour

Hi Everyone,

Time for the next Colour Create Challenge! This week our colours have been chosen by our fabulous DT Suzie, who has chosen Pink, Green and a Neutral colour of your choice with the optional extra being to make your own flowers.

Here's is the pic Suzie has chosen to inspire us with:-

If you stop by Colour Create Challenge you'll notice that this week we are sponsored by the wonderful team at Kenny K who have given us these fabulously sassy images to showcase :) They have also generously donated the prize for this week's challenge!

The image I chose to work with is Club Kid and I've coloured her with copics and added a little spica pen to her lips. My pink pattern paper is from the 6x6 Prima Annalee Paper Pad and the Green is from the 6x6 Basic Grey Wander Paper Pad. I've gone with White as my neutral colour.

I've used this gorgeous pink Websters Ribbon, some more of the cheesecloth I received from my Secret Santa (I'm loving it!), the doily and pearls I've had for ages. All the edges are distressed and sewn and I've added a little Stickles to my oval for a touch of Glam.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-
Papertake Weekly - Buttons, Bows, Bling & Blooms
Stampin for the Weekend - Out with the Old (Doily Ribbon & Pearls)

Colour Create - Sage, Red and Cream

Hi Everyone,

So sorry to be late posting my Colour Create Challenge card! My holidays are coming to an end and it's back to work on Monday for me :(

Our lovely DT Edna has chosen the colours for this challenge and they are Sage, Red and Cream. I actually thought they'd make a great Christmas Card so I used the combination to make one of my last Christmas Cards. Edna's optional extra is buttons.

Here is the pic that Edna chose to inpsire us with:-

I chose to use one of my new Magnolia Stamps that I hadn't used yet this Christmas! I've coloured her with copics and the papers are leftovers from last Christmas!

My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pearls, button and ribbon are all from my stash and I've used my oval nestabilities dies too!

I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season, we've been away camping with friends at the beach and riding the tube behind the Jetski, so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year to you all :)

Colour Create - Blue, Silver and White

Hi Everyone,

Well sadly it's time for our last Colour Create Challenge of the year! Our wonderful team coordinator Sharon has given us a break over Christmas so you'll actually have an extra two weeks to join our challenge! This time is was my turn to choose the colours and I've gone with Blue, Silver and White, with the optional extra being Embossing (Heat or Dry or Both). Here is the inspiration pic for you :-

Being that it is the festive season our generous sponsor Michelle from Michelle's Scrapbooking has generously donated a $30 voucer for our lucky challenge winner!

I chose to make a round card for this challenge and have layered white and silver cardstock with this pretty pattern paper from Magnolia. I've also used my favourite Magnolia stamp Tilda Wrapped and coloured her with copics.

I've embossed my Silver Cardstock with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and I've heat embossed the chipboard Merry Christmas sentiment with silver embossing powder. The bells, ribbon and lace are from my stash and the flowers are a combination of Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts.

Magnolia Down Under - Lost and Found

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week we'd like you to use something you've found around your home!

I found this paper gift bag that I still had sitting at home after a purchase - here is a before pic.

Now it can be anything that you've found at home for the challenge - buttons, string, ribbon, packaging... the list is endless!

Once again we are please to be joined by our sponsor Stampyland

Stampyland have offered a $20 voucher for our winner this week - so I hope you'll join us this challenge!

Here's slightly closer look at my Christmas gift bag, I've used so many things that I've had stashed away... those metal corners, the metal Merry Christmas sentiment and some left over bells from last year. My flowers are a combination of Magnolia and Wild Orchid and the Magnolia Paper is a recent purchase... I love the colours.

Tilda has been coloured with copics and stickles added for extra glitz.... I've also used liquid pearls to create the background.

I'd like to enter my gift bag in these challenges.
Allsorts Challenge - It Takes Two (Red & Blue)
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz - No Cards
Simon Says Challenge - Photomontage
Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge - Christmas and make it Sparkle!

Lia Stampz - Fancy Fold Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Time for the next Lia Stampz challenge which is Fancy Folds, the DT have all used this cute new image called Haley. For your chance to win your own digi of Haley simply join us with a Fancy Fold card, you don't have to use a Lia Stampz image but if you have one that would be great :)

As you can see I've used a gate fold with my image on a band that holds the card closed when shut. My papers are from Magnolia, the snowflake punch is Martha Stewart and the ribbon, bells and gems are from my stash.

My Haley image is coloured with Copics and I've added some Frosty Stickles to the sign and Haley's hat and skirt.

I hope you'll join us this challenge and be sure to drop by (here) and check out the amazing designs by the rest of the DT and our Special Guests.
